S5000 Polystyrene Adhesive

S5000 polystyrene adhesive has been designed for bonding rigid foams, including expanded or extruded polystyrene (without dissolving the foam) to steel, aluminium or galvanised ducting and many other common construction materials.

Description: Standard natural rubber-based (NR) cement for combining and folding.

Polymer base: Natural Rubber (NR).

Colour: Cream.

Viscosity Brookfield LVT (3,30): 8000-13000 cP at 24 +/- 4 ºC

Solid content: 14% to 15%

Open Time: from 20 min. to 2 hours.

Specific properties: High viscosity with good brushability. High efficiency. Light colour. Good tack and good green strength and heat resistance. For bonding porous materials.

Stability: Good for a period of 12 months, when stored in well-sealed packages and in cool-dry place.

Work hazards: Easy flammable liquid.
