Problem: A customer was looking for water based adhesive for bonding a water repellent silica blanket to a silicate wall board. Since the silica blanket was very strongly water repellent, we had to modify an existing insulation adhesive to allow it to wet out and adhere to the silica blanket.
Solution: We developed TP 5/6 which has excellent adhesion to both substrates. The adhesive could be applied by roller or bead, water based, solvent free and almost odourless.
Problem: A customer required an adhesive to bond a PE coated card stock to an uncoated card. The card was to be folded into a box suitable for holding dinners which are microwave for four minutes at a high setting. The adhesive must be odourless, heat resistance and all raw materials must be FDA approved.
Solution: We developed TP 6/6 which was odourless, could be micro waved and formulated using FDA conforming raw materials.
Problem: A customer was looking for water based clear lacquer for use on OSB panels. The product must be very fast drying, glass clear and have exceptional exterior resistance.
Solution: We developed a spray or roller applied coating which was solvent free, clear and offered superior resistance properties to the 26 other competitors products tested. |
